The YMCA of Southern Interior BC extends an enormous THANK YOU to the riders, sponsors, donors, attendees, staff, volunteers, the City of Kelowna, and everyone else who made this extraordinary event such an amazing success.
We Did It!
YOU helped make a difference in a child’s life. The goal for the event was to raise enough funds to support 1,500 low-income children and at-risk youth in our community, and we blew this goal out of the water!
We are thrilled to announce that together we raised over $275,000 and counting! A record-breaking year!
With 1 in 6 children in BC living in poverty, many families are unable to afford extracurricular activities. Because of you, not only will all funds raised stay local, but they'll also provide low-income children and at-risk youth with free or subsidized YMCA membership, and access to our Child & Youth Development Programs, including Mental Health Supports, Dropout Prevention Programs, Family Support Services, and so much more.
A Day of Fun and Activities
YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids is a one-day, action-packed event made possible through the generosity and support of local donors, partners and participants. This year, over 280 adults and 32 children took centre stage at Stuart Park, pedaling for hope and change. It was an action-packed day, with thousands of families enjoying a Kids Zone sponsored by Unison Jane Hoffman Realty, Wellness Zone sponsored by Kelowna High Performance, photobooth sponsored by PUR KIDS® Foundation, food and beverage zone, and so much more.
It's Not Too Late to Donate
It’s not too late to make an impact and support local children and families right here in your community. We'll be counting donations until June 10, 2025.

Raffle
Thank you for supporting this year’s raffle! The raffle ended on June 1 at 11:59 p.m. Draw date is Monday, June 2 at 12:00 p.m. Stay tuned as we will announce the raffle winners soon.
Passport Prize Draw
Thank you for participating in the Kid Zone activity stations! The passport prize draw contest closed at 2 p.m. on June 1, 2025. The winners will be randomly selected and notified on June 2, 2025. Each prize will be awarded to one winner. The winners must claim their prize from the Kelowna Family YMCA (375 Hartman Rd.) by June 30, 2025.
