My aunt who I have not seen since childhood because she lives in a different country.

Please explain one fond memory you have of the Y.
Hearing about success stories of youth in the YMCA Employment and Career Development programs and realizing how impactful these programs have been to the youth in our community.
What are you doing to stay connected while at home?
Spending time with my significant other and our adorable dog.
Are you staying connected with your Y family during this time?
I was lucky enough to continue working during when most businesses had shut down and I was able to stay in touch with my colleagues virtually.
Where is your favourite place to “dine”/order takeout in the Okanagan right now?
My favorite place to eat in the Okanagan would have to be Montana’s.
What is your favourite activity while social distancing in the Okanagan?
Cooking and baking new recipes.
Who inspires you (within your Y family or elsewhere)?
The genuine desire and determination from all YMCA staff to help members of our community.
What are you passionate about?
I want to continue to build relationships with people and leave an impactful in my community.
What would you like to say to your fellow staff/volunteer team?
I am grateful to have been a part of the YMCA team and will always cherish the memories and skills I have dropped over the years.
What does community mean to you?
Community to me means being part of something bigger than myself and feeling a sense of belonging.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is seeing and greeting every smiling face that walks through the door and feeling a sense of belonging to such an impactful Y team.
