Photo ID Required for Entry

Individuals age 19+ must present a membership card or valid photo ID to access the facility alongside their child for swim lessons.

Continuous Swimming Lessons allow parents to register all their children on the same day at the same time, simplifying the registration process.

H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre

All parents are required to create a new enrollment for their children each session, so we cannot guarantee that your child's lesson will be on the same day or at the same time as in the past.

Kelowna Family Y

Lessons at this centre automatically roll over so parents do not need to register their children for each session.

You can register online, visit your centre of choice, contact us by email, or phone us at 250-491-9622.

Children can only be registered for one spot per week and cannot be on a waitlist if they are currently registered in a spot.

Kelowna Family Y Current Participants

If your child is already registered for lessons at the Kelowna Family Y, and has a membership in good standing (not on hold), your child will automatically be registered in the appropriate level for the next session. You will not need to re-register them.

If your child has participated in swim lessons with us, you can use the ID number on their membership card to view their online progress report:

Parents are required to look at their child's report cards to ensure they are registered in the correct level. If they are not in the correct level, please see a lesson supervisor during the first week of lessons.

Otherwise, you can come into the facility for a swim assessment during public swim times.

Parent & tot classes always require parents to be in the water with their child.

Children in other levels may also need extra assistance that the instructor cannot accommodate. In that case, your instructor may ask you to come prepared to assist in the water.

Yes, anyone 19 and older has to present valid photo ID to access our facilities.
