Lottery to support community health and wellness
Media are invited to attend the launch of the inaugural Lake Like Lottery – the first lottery in the Interior of B.C. that gives residents the chance to win luxurious prizes while supporting physical, mental and social health initiatives and services in the Southern Interior. Funds from the 2022 lottery will benefit the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation and the YMCA of Southern Interior BC.
Members of the media will have the opportunity to hear more about the lottery cause and prizes, enjoy summer refreshments, and capture the fun as community leaders, local celebrities, and athletes take a plunge in a dunk tank to help raise awareness about the lottery.
Speakers include:
- Allyson Graf – President and CEO of YMCA of Southern Interior BC
- Allison Ramchuk – CEO of Kelowna General Hospital Foundation
Date: Tuesday, August 30
Time: 1 – 3 p.m.
- Formal remarks begin at 1 p.m. with the dunking and refreshments scheduled for 1:15 – 2:45 p.m.
