Licensed Child Care Families

Use the login below for licensed child care and licensed child care camp registration. Summer camp registration is available to all but registration for Early Years, Preschool and Out of School Care programs is only available for those families that have been contacted directly by the Child Care Administration team to register for a specific program.

Membership and Program Registration FAQ

This system is for managing your membership and registering for programs, camps, and courses. You can:

  • Purchase a new membership
  • Add family members
  • Update your contact information
  • Register for swim lessons, recreation programs, camps, and courses.
  • Request to put your membership on hold
  • Apply for financial assistance (coming soon)
  • Access a digital version of your membership card*
  • Request a birthday party booking more efficiently (coming soon)

Please note that fitness classes are still managed separately through our fitness class booking system and app.

*To protect children and vulnerable people in our centres, all adults must show valid government-issued photo ID prior to accessing the facility. Once your ID is verified on your profile, you will be able to use your membership card to access the facility.

I'm a current member or punch card holder.

As a current member or punch card holder, you will have been sent an activation email—either on June 21, 2023 or on the day that you signed up for membership. Please look for an email from the YMCA of Southern Interior BC with the subject "Activate your membership account" or "Access your YMCA account". The email contains a link that you can use to access and create a new password for your account.

There’s a chance the email could have landed in your junk or spam folder. If it does, you can move it to your inbox, mark it as not spam, and/or add our email address to your contact list to help you receive important emails from us in the future.

If you are unable to find the email, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the log-in page ›
  2. Click the forgot password link under the login button
  3. Enter the email associated with your account
  4. Check your email for a link to change your password
  5. If the email landed in your spam/junk folder, please move it to your inbox, mark it as not spam, and/or add our email address to your contact list to help you receive important emails from us in the future.

I'm not currently a member but I had a membership in the past.

If you had a membership at any time from July 6, 2020—June 21, 2023, you may be able to use the account activation tool to access your account. To use this, you would need to know your membership number/barcode (located on your membership card) and the email address that was associated with your account. If you do not have this information, or the activation tool does not work for you, please reach out by email (membership@ymcasibc.ca) or in person for assistance.

If you had your membership sometime before July 6, 2020, you can create a new account.

If you had a membership sometime after June 21, 2023, you can try to use the forgot password function on the login page. You'll need to know the email that was associated with your account. If this does not work for you, please reach out by email (membership@ymcasibc.ca) or in person for assistance.


I'm not a member but I've registered for programs before.

If you've registered for programs any time after July 6, 2020, please reach out by email (membership@ymcasibc.ca) or in person so we can help you access your account.

If you haven't registered for programs since before July 6, 2020, you can create a new account.

If you get stuck, you can contact us by email (membership@ymcasibc.ca) or in person at the Kelowna Family Y, Downtown Y or H2O.

If you are already booking fitness classes, please continue doing so with the account you have set up. Our current fitness booking system provides the best possible experience and functionality, and we want to maintain that great service. Unfortunately, this is still a separate login from our membership and program registration system. We are continuing to investigate how we may simplify this for you in the future.

At this time, cancellations must be done in person or through email (membership@ymcasibc.ca).

At the Y, you can cancel your membership at any time, without paying any extra fees. If you cancel mid-way through your payment cycle, your membership will remain active for the remainder of that cycle (refunds will not be provided for payments that have already been made).

You may now request to put your membership on hold online. When you make the request, you can select the length of your hold (1–4 cycles). Your membership will automatically restart at the end of that period. If you decide to reactivate your membership sooner, you must contact our member services team at membership@ymcasibc.ca or in person at one of our health, fitness, and aquatic centres.

Purchase a membership

After you create an account in our booking system, your membership will then need to be verified by a member services representative.

Please email membership@ymcaokanagan.ca or visit your centre in person for assistance.

To cancel a class, go to "My Schedule" (under "My Info") and click the "Cancel" link beside the booking you wish to cancel.

Mobile App
  • Open the app (make sure you are logged in).
  • Tap on "profile" in the bottom menu.
  • Tap the "cancel" button beside the booking you wish to cancel

Your profile information (email, phone number, preferred location etc.) can be accessed in the "My Info" section.
