Smile Cookie Cheque Presentation to celebrate impact of campaign on YMCA Healthy Snacks Program
Please join us for cake and photo opportunities as we celebrate the success of the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.
This year the campaign raised an incredible $81,438.49 for the YMCA of Southern Interior BC’s Healthy Snack Program. Tim Hortons restaurants in Kelowna have been supporting the YMCA through this campaign since 2013, and these donations have played a pivotal role in ensuring nearly 900 children participating in Y child care programs each year receive daily nutritious snacks. With soaring food costs, more families are struggling financially and for some children, these are the only healthy snacks they receive.
This event will include a tour of the new Airport YMCA Child Care facility, cheque presentation, and words from YMCA VP of Child Care, Danielle Miranda. YMCA staff, child care participants, and Tim Hortons Franchise owners will be on location for the celebration.
